The Third Devlog: About Art


As I am doing the necessary  art for the boss, I realized that it'll take a lot longer than usual. Sorry for everyone that I've told it would take at most a month, I have been going on and off on the art since making visuals for anything isn't my strong suit, so I haven't been doing it often or putting it to the side. Now that bites me in the behind, making me do work I was supposed to do more later, forcing me to say that the next update to the game won't come yet. I'm not sure WHEN it will come, but when I really have a chance to deduct how much time it would take to do the visuals. But for now, I don't have a time frame. 


Onto another topic, I have found the source of the dirt tile that I put in my game. I might replace it soon, so get excited for that. I'll also make it make sense for the story. I won't tell you much but I won't just be revamping dirt for my tileset. I'll add another one to the list. So, remember that when it happens. 


The third level. Still needs some fixing to do, so I'll have to work on that right after the boss. 


I guess I need to say this sooner or later. I removed the moving blocks from the game entirely. I'm sorry for the 1 person who was a fan of the moving tiles. Heart-breaking to see them go. But I had no choice. It was causing too many glitches to keep shut. So I put mini-blocks in their place. They are just half their size but still function as a solid block. Still need to fix it visually, which should take a few seconds. Nahhhhhhhh. I'm fine. I'll do that later.
